The life and adventures of Blubicon...

This is the Story of my life. WIth some gaps. Major and minor. I don't blog every day. I blog when the feelings hit me. I write about me, about my daughter, about books I read and love. I blog about whatever I feel like, whenever I feel like blogging. I love the act of putting "pen to paper" or rather of putting fingers to keys.

My July 4rth 2006

July 4rth 2006 was a pretty good day for me. We got up and ate french fries and peaches and toast. Strange combination, but good. After that mom and I went to a fabric store and I bought the stuff to finish Aunt Angie's Christmas gift. I really don't think I am going to be able to wait till Christmas to give it too her. It is such a cool gift. I wish I had time to make one for everyone in my whole world. I am not sure that I will. I am going to probably make one for AA., Auntie KK, and Myself. Mom says Auntie KK will use it and I think she won't. We will see. Any way while we were at the fabrics sore. Mike called me and asked me if I would bring Sami and go to a bbq with him at some friends of his house. I wasn't really sure if I wanted to or not, but I also think that I should know this guy from more places than work so I said I would ask Dad if he thought it was ok. Sami, mom and I headed home from the far far away fabric store with hopes that Sami would take a small nap. Not happening'. We stopped at the fireman's picnic in town where I bought the family fish sandwiches, fries and onion rings. Then we went home and ate them. Dad said it was ok if I went to see Mike he would watch Sami since she needed a nap. So I went to his house. It is over 34 miles from mine. That is a long long long drive. We went to Norm and Sarah's house and Had some really good bbq then we watched their 2 yr old Sami swim in her pool and we sat around and played a game called pass the pigs. It was really funny. Around 7 we went back to Mikes house and I got my jeep to head home. It was a terrible rain storm. For over 6 miles I drove in 4x4 at less than 15 mph. I didn't like that. The only good thing (sorry Monica) was I knew that it was raining at home and I wasn't missing seeing the fireworks with Sami. I finally stopped at Walmart and got food and a new book. Then headed home and we stood on the back porch and watched the fireworks go off in all directions... It was overall a pretty good day.

the runaway

Since some of you have not heard the story here it is... Dad decided to put the trailer on the tractor and back it into it's spot beside my jeep. The trailer required a bigger ball then what was on the tractor. He thought it would be just fine. It wasn't fine. the only thing we could figure was that when he dropped off of the driveway into the rocks the hitch bounced off of the ball and it went down the hill. Since it was a hill it kept going and going. It finally stopped in the ditch. Sami and I went out to see what was going on and we decided to call Dw and Ja to ask for help. They came and helped and we got it out. Well they got the trailer out, mom watched sami and I took pictures. Of course daddy tells it better so maybe you should ask him about it.

These are the pictures of the runaway from June 9th. I am sure you have heard the story once or twice if you have talked to dad. Thanks for your help Dwayne and Ja.
