My July 4rth 2006
July 4rth 2006 was a pretty good day for me. We got up and ate french fries and peaches and toast. Strange combination, but good. After that mom and I went to a fabric store and I bought the stuff to finish Aunt Angie's Christmas gift. I really don't think I am going to be able to wait till Christmas to give it too her. It is such a cool gift. I wish I had time to make one for everyone in my whole world. I am not sure that I will. I am going to probably make one for AA., Auntie KK, and Myself. Mom says Auntie KK will use it and I think she won't. We will see. Any way while we were at the fabrics sore. Mike called me and asked me if I would bring Sami and go to a bbq with him at some friends of his house. I wasn't really sure if I wanted to or not, but I also think that I should know this guy from more places than work so I said I would ask Dad if he thought it was ok. Sami, mom and I headed home from the far far away fabric store with hopes that Sami would take a small nap. Not happening'. We stopped at the fireman's picnic in town where I bought the family fish sandwiches, fries and onion rings. Then we went home and ate them. Dad said it was ok if I went to see Mike he would watch Sami since she needed a nap. So I went to his house. It is over 34 miles from mine. That is a long long long drive. We went to Norm and Sarah's house and Had some really good bbq then we watched their 2 yr old Sami swim in her pool and we sat around and played a game called pass the pigs. It was really funny. Around 7 we went back to Mikes house and I got my jeep to head home. It was a terrible rain storm. For over 6 miles I drove in 4x4 at less than 15 mph. I didn't like that. The only good thing (sorry Monica) was I knew that it was raining at home and I wasn't missing seeing the fireworks with Sami. I finally stopped at Walmart and got food and a new book. Then headed home and we stood on the back porch and watched the fireworks go off in all directions... It was overall a pretty good day.

Hmm...so was this considered a date?? :) I am so glad you had such a good time. You need those breaks to get refreshed. I know it wasn't the Columbia fireworks you were watching!!!! That is funny that they have a Sami that is almost the exact age as your Sami :)

Having another Sami around was strange. She was a good kid though. I enjoyed the down time. He wants to meet mom and dad so it might have been a date.
