The life and adventures of Blubicon...

This is the Story of my life. WIth some gaps. Major and minor. I don't blog every day. I blog when the feelings hit me. I write about me, about my daughter, about books I read and love. I blog about whatever I feel like, whenever I feel like blogging. I love the act of putting "pen to paper" or rather of putting fingers to keys.

It's been a day or two since I posted...

It's been a day or two since i posted.... ( wait is there an echo on my blog?) :) It is Friday again.

I added new stamps to my stamp list.... I added new stamps to my stamp list.... I added new stamps.........................................................

I have some pictures on my laptop I need to resize maybe I can get to that while Sami is sleeping and mom and dad are doing their thing tonight. I don't' know what they are doing but they are dressing up and going somewhere... I hope they have fun. I have been working days. I am tired... It seems that this switching to days is killing me. AT least making me tired.
I was driving home tonight and looked in my rear view mirror and decided no one was behind me then I looked up and saw the car in front of me was stopping so I slowed down. I realized they were really stopping so I decided to really stop to, rear ending someone is not my idea of a really good time. I looked back up in my rear view mirror in time to see a little golden Chevy coming right at my rear end. He didn't even look like he was stopping at all. I was on the exit ramp right where I wrecked my first Jeep. I decided that I had enough room to get over to the edge and maybe if he went the right way he would miss me. I headed right and he headed left. When he finally stopped his bumper was even with the bumper of the car in front of me. I was so scared and shook up. I just kept thinking wow what if I had not seen him. Thank God I saw him. I was still shook up when I got home. When I saw Sami I seriously thought about crying but I didn't. She was running around outside without her hat on so I had to tell her to put her hat on. Amazing how little things bring us down to earth sometimes.
Hope you all have a good weekend
Sam

Sunday June 18, 2006. Late edition...

First of all Happy Fathers day.
I have a wonderful father who I was very privilege to get to spend the day with. I also got to spend the day with my second father who is also one of the best people I know on this earth. And beyond those two blessings I got to spend the day with Allen, Monica, Hannah, Emily, Joseph, Jane, Mom and my favorite person in the world Sami. I also got to talk to Mike on the phone a few times that was fun as usual. ( hmm who's mike you ask maybe you will find out more but for now he is a secret.) :)
The first thing we did this morning was go on a bike ride. I bought Sami a little pull behind cart that we put together this morning and we road around and around and around the driveway. The rocks are really bumpy. There is a picture of gampa pulling her above.

Then we met the rest of the family at the museum of Transportation. We rode the ride on train a few times then we walked around to the car museum. After that we rode the trolley. Then we literally ran down the hill so we could catch the last train ride. We made it. It was a lot of fun. Hannah enjoyed the trains as much as Gampa.

Anyway I hate to cut this short but I have to go to bed now I am on days for two weeks and a six am wake up call is coming shortly...
sweet dreams.

Sunday June 18, 2006 early edition

I say early edition because it is Father's day. I think it will be a nice day and I will have more pictures to post and more things to type about soon. It is one am here. I have had a wonderful day. Despite the fact that everything I planned on doing shot craps on me. We first planned on going to the family reunion, but it was raining and we did not want Sami out in the rain... So then we decided to go to the daylilly farm . We were gonna stop by a really cool resturant on the way there but when we got to the resturant it was closed. It looks like it is closed for good. :( When we got to the daylilly place it was closed. :( double frown... SO we (btw we is Mom, Dad, Sami and I) decided to go to a resturant that was called Buffalo's. Oh my was it wonderful. We all enjoyed it. I believe they have hands down the best fries in the world. I would seriously drive back just to eat the fries. After that we basically went shopping. I got a new pair of jeans. (7 bucks) and a new t-shirt. The t-shirt has a picture of a jeep grill (imagine that) hitting a squirrel adn it says 'road grill cafe" " a hit when you are feeling run down." I liked it.

On the way to Back got a bit fussy. She had been good the whole way untill then so I gave her my chap stick. That was soooo cute. She played with her basket at buffalo's. Then she played on the rock when we got out of Buffalo's. After we went home and let me tell you poor poor tinker. She deserves a metal. Trust me or you can just look at the pictures.
