The life and adventures of Blubicon...

This is the Story of my life. WIth some gaps. Major and minor. I don't blog every day. I blog when the feelings hit me. I write about me, about my daughter, about books I read and love. I blog about whatever I feel like, whenever I feel like blogging. I love the act of putting "pen to paper" or rather of putting fingers to keys.

I got to sleep in today. Sami and Gampa went into Ace Hardware to get some stuff. I didn't ask what they bought I was just thankful for the extra sleep.

I added to my stampin' up list today. I added two new stamps they are highlighted in blue. I think that will make them easier to find if we need to find them. I won a set of stamps on ebay last night. I really bought them so I could make Monica a card. I think she will like them a lot. I do. They are called "Wild Things". They are a retired set. I can't wait to see them. I really think Monica will end up borrowing them before we are done. I think this is soo cool. Are we gonna have another girls day sometime? I missed the last one. I know Tammy won't be available for awhile, but.....

I had a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful time this weekend. It was an amazing weekend. I got to spend quality time with some of my family. Sami and I played together all day Sat. We had a good time. She talked Gampa into getting the bikes ready to go on a bike ride. When Mom got off work we went to the trail and rode the bikes. It was a lot of fun. We went 5 miles that time. Then we went to Oberweis for ice cream. Oh my was it good. I still think Baskin Robin's apple pie is my favorite. That is wowowowowowowow. I could eat it for weeks and never eat anything else. We bought Sami Fresh Oberweis milk. It does not have any growth hormones or any additives in it. I think it should be better for her. They say the growth hormones are hard on little girls. It is the least I can do. Now if they were only opened at night so I could pick it up on my way home. Maybe we can figure out how to buy enough to make it last for a week with out going bad. They say milk likes darkness. It will stay better longer if you keep it in the dark. Who knows. Sunday we met Clarence, Jane, Allen, Monica, Karen D. Hannah, Emily and Joeseph at the bike trail and rode it again. This time we rode 12 miles it was a lot of fun. We rode up this hill that was so long and so hard. It way amazing coming down though. I thought I was going to go airborne when I hit one of the bumps in the path where the bridge hit the pavement. I got to the bottom of the hill and I yelled to Karen and Monica. That was great lets do it again. The ppl on the soccer field cheered for us then. When we got done with the amazing bike ride we went to Apple bees. Sami got kind of restless but we made it. We left the house at 4:10 and got home after 9. It was overall a great day. It was a great weekend too.
I am back to work now though. I can't wait for another weekend. I think last week was the 4rth weekend in a row that I had had two days off straight. I hope that keeps up. I am starting to like my time off.

Have a great day.

We LOVED spending time with you too. We can't wait to schedule another trip. It was awesome....well except for Devil's Hill :)

I bet you are loving having real weekends. I don't know how you do it on your schedule. God gives His grace!!! You are such a super Mommy. Even on your little time off you are giving giving giving to your precious little girl. I am proud of you :)

Looking forward to seeing that stamp set too!!! We do need to set up another time when we can get together and borrow each other's stuff. Maybe we can get a ballpark date on Friday when we go.
