This is the Story of my life. WIth some gaps. Major and minor. I don't blog every day. I blog when the feelings hit me. I write about me, about my daughter, about books I read and love. I blog about whatever I feel like, whenever I feel like blogging. I love the act of putting "pen to paper" or rather of putting fingers to keys.

Too cute! I would love to take my girls there. How much does something like that cost? Great gift idea :) I bet Auntie KK is going to love it too

I still think you should have called her Mystica, though my new favorite player's name is Aminata, a very nice name as well.
I have something else she will want. I bought her a Build-a-Bear Pax the Panda Mystics' mascot bear that I was going to save for her birthday, but maybe I'll send it so she can have two WNBA Build-a-Bears.
Or maybe I'll wait and give it to her at the All-Star Game when she can have it's little jersey autographed by one of the players. Did I tell you I bought 5th row courtside seats for all 4 of you for the All-Star Game? Because I sit in the 2nd row courtside, we'll all only be 2 rows apart. We're in seats 9-10, row BB and you're in 9-12, row B.

We nicknamed her Mystica. We really need to know the dates so that I can ask off by the end of the month...
We plan on bringing the bear with us so keep yours there... A signed jersey would be cool. What would it cost me to have you buy her a 2t jersey with your players name on it. Did the girl that I have a jersey for trade? Do I need a new jersey too?
I think I have Page. Number 10.
Monica. The bear was $14 and the outfit was 12. Then you could add shoes for $7. we left the shoes off. They just get lost in all the toys, and we didnt' think a bear needed shoes anyway. You can buy other junk also, but...
I think Hannah would enjoy it a lot more than Emily. Sami really didn't enjoy it all that much except for the $30 car she kept trying to ride in.

The game is Sunday, July 15 at 3:30 p.m. There will be events all weekend that we can attend, so you should try to arrive on Thursday, July 12 or the morning of Friday the 13th. You can stay as long as you want. If you want to stay a week and catch another game, there is a regular season game Tuesday, July 10 at 7:00 p.m. and the "Kids Day" game is on Wednesday, July 18 at 11:30 a.m.

Yes, you need a new jersey - Page is now in LA - but I can't buy them yet. The colors and uniforms are changing this year, but everything now is like 75% off, so if you want a "vintage" Alana Beard jersey we could get that, or we can wait. They are pricey -- like $70 for adult jerseys and $45 for kids. But they have kid ones that are pink and black that are just adorable, so maybe I should get her one of those anyway.

And then if that still wasn't enough basketball -- because really, we all know, there is never enough basketball -- we could take the train to NYC one day and go to the NBA STORE and NIKETOWN!!!
NYC has other things too, I think, like museums, but what's the point of that?

Okay - last post: now that I think about it, you're probably really going to need the All-Star jersey, not the regular jersey. See last year's example (I have this one, of course):

Do I need a vintage Alana Jersey? How many games am I gonna get to see? Can I wear the same Jersey over and over again to all the games?
Monica have you ever been to NYC? I haven't. I think it would be fun though. Lets go....

Well, it depends on how long you can stay how many games you can see. As I said, I think 2 is very doable. Yes, you can wear the same jersey. I don't see any jerseys on sale on-line now. I bet they'll still sell them at the first few games next season even cheaper. You could buy the long-sleeve shooting shirt like I have for $40 -- at: http://store.nba.com/gp/product/B0009PEZ2U/ref=sc_pgp_c_7_1_14282811_m_AI034WF8DHTF9_1/103-8274720-8635001?ie=UTF8&n=14282811&s=&v=glance&league=wnba. That is a real steal -- it is easily my favorite shirt. I wear it every weekend and to every game and dad even saw me wear it on TV. I think they only have XL available, but I think that would probably work. I think I have a large.

Yes, Allen and I went when the group of us took our Gettysburg trip. Loved NYC....not thrilled with Gettysburg :( We took a bus tour. I loved it b/c we got front row parking on everything and the guide told us lots of cool info.
