This is the Story of my life. WIth some gaps. Major and minor. I don't blog every day. I blog when the feelings hit me. I write about me, about my daughter, about books I read and love. I blog about whatever I feel like, whenever I feel like blogging. I love the act of putting "pen to paper" or rather of putting fingers to keys.

Get her to jump off the box and then back on, off, on, off, on, without stopping. She'll have to face the box and jump off backwards. That would be a good start to her plyometric program that will ensure she's able to dunk in high school. When she masters that, let me know and I'll give her Plyometric Exercise # 2.

And one more thing -- if she's going to be a serious basketball player, she might need to learn to play with both hands. Not sure you can do a smooth cross-over dribble with a toy in your left hand . . .

the box is taller than she can jump yet. She can jump off an onto things with both feet though. She only held the blue monkey after class was over. Hey Auntie KK we really need some of these things so we can practice at home.... It would be so nice to get to do it more than once a week. Just imagine how good of a bb player I would be then.
Monica,
We are doing this at the Y on monday mornings...
